A new mid-size luxury sedan from Infiniti debuts this year. The 2011 M37 replaces the M35 in Infiniti’s luxury sedan lineup, and is aimed to compete directly with European rivals. Typical for Infiniti, the M37 is packed with technology and standard luxury and safety options. Priced lower compared to similarly outfitted European competition, the Infiniti M37 has a base under $50,000 that includes a long list of impressive standard features.

The M37 is available in a rear wheel drive, or in the M37x version which adds all wheel drive. The power plant is an impressive 3.7 liter DOHC 24-valve V6 that outputs 330 horse power and 270 pound feet of torque. The transmission is a high-tech seven speed automatic with manual paddles and four shift modes (Snow, Eco, Standard, and Sport). Eco mode provides the best fuel economy and Sport the fastest performance, holding gear longer while accelerating or turning into a corner.

The new 2011 M37 looks like it came to play. Styling is aggressive and gives a clue to the performance under the hood.
