A new mid-size luxury sedan from Infiniti debuts this year. The 2011 M37 replaces the M35 in Infiniti’s luxury sedan lineup, and is aimed to compete directly with European rivals. As expected, this Infiniti is packed with high tech luxury and safety features. Starting under $50,000, the M37 has a price advantage over European counterparts that are similarly equipped.The all new 2011 M37 from Infiniti is rear-wheel drive, but it gets all-wheel drive added in the M37x variation. Both options include a muscular 3.7 liter DOHC 24-valve V6, putting out 330 horse power and 270 pound feet of torque. The transmission is a high-tech seven speed automatic with manual paddles and four shift modes (Snow, Eco, Standard, and Sport). Naturally, Eco provides the best economy and Sport maximum fun.
The key words describing the looks of the all new M37 are “aggressive” and “sleek.” It looks ready to pounce on an unsuspecting Audi or Mercedes with its bulging fender flares and large grill. The 18-inch alloy wheels with V-speed-rated high performance tires are standard. So are automatic bi-xenon headlights, power-folding mirrors, sunroof, and keyless ignition.
Plenty of safety features are expected on a high-tech luxury sedan, and Infiniti loaded up the 2011 M37 with safety gizmos.
